What is "Good Picks"?

Good Picks takes the same two scores checkthestock already shows on every stock page โ€” a fundamental score (is the business itself sound?) and a technical score (is the chart showing strength right now?) โ€” and crosses them across the whole market, so you can see where the two views agree, and where they don't.

The three lists, plainly

๐Ÿ’ช Strong & strong โ€” the fundamental score is high (roughly 65/100 or better) AND the technical score is high (7/10 or better). The business looks sound on paper and the chart is showing real trend/momentum at the same time. The two views agree.
๐ŸŒฑ Strong, quiet chart โ€” the fundamental score is high, but the technical score is only moderate (3โ€“6/10) โ€” not weak, not hot. A business that scores well but hasn't caught the market's attention yet. No momentum signal either way; the chart is simply quiet.
โš ๏ธ Hot chart, weak business โ€” the technical score is high (7/10+) but the fundamental score is low (under 40/100). The chart is moving, but the business behind it โ€” margins, debt, returns โ€” looks weak. This is shown as a risk flag, not an opportunity: momentum without fundamentals underneath it can unwind just as fast as it built.

Why cross them at all?

Our technical vs fundamental guide covers this in depth, but the short version: fundamentals answer "is this worth owning?" and technicals answer "is the market agreeing right now?" Most individual stock pages already show you both scores side by side for one company at a time. Good Picks does the same comparison, but across the whole market at once โ€” so instead of checking stocks one by one, you can see immediately where a strong business and a strong chart line up, or where they don't.

What it is not

Good Picks is not a recommendation to buy anything, and it is not a ranked "best stocks" list. It's a filter โ€” a way of organising public data into three honest categories. A stock in "strong & strong" today can move to any other category tomorrow as its chart or its numbers change. Always open the individual stock page for the full read, including risk levels, before deciding anything.
