Prices, volume, historical series and published company fundamentals are retrieved from public market-data endpoints. Symbol coverage for Indian equities is built from the NSE's public equity list; US coverage is built from the public Nasdaq Trader symbol directories, which include both Nasdaq- and NYSE-listed securities.
Figures are the latest available from our data source, not a real-time exchange feed. They may be delayed. We deliberately avoid the words "live" and "real-time" anywhere on the site, because we cannot guarantee either. Each stock page shows when its company data was retrieved.
Where a required figure is unavailable, the affected signal is omitted rather than estimated. Where a figure is ambiguous enough that displaying it risks being materially wrong — for example a dividend yield whose units cannot be reliably determined — it is omitted entirely. Showing nothing is preferable to showing a confidently wrong number.
Headlines shown on stock pages are aggregated from public news feeds and link to their original publishers. Headline sentiment tagging is automated and approximate; it is a rough signal, not an editorial judgement.
